Voter suppression is not a “great idea”

It’s clear what Cindy Hyde-Smith’s campaign’s strategy is. She knows that Mississippians are sick and tired of her failed leadership. They know she has no plan to combat rising costs. And they know she won’t stand up for working families.

She’s on track to lose, so her strategy is to suppress the vote. Don’t believe us? Just take her at her word. She said:

“There’s a lot of liberal folks in those other schools who maybe we don’t want to vote. Maybe we want to make it just a little more difficult. So, I think that’s a great idea.”

A GREAT IDEA?! Taking away the rights of Americans to vote is never a great idea. But it’s from the same tried and true playbook: when you can’t win based on your ideas, you have to cheat.

That’s why we’re fighting back to make sure all registered and eligible Mississippians are able to vote.

Will you rush a donation to our campaign right now and help us make sure all Mississippians who are eligible and want to vote are able to?
