What I saw in a Waffle House
Good morning!

I was enjoying my breakfast at Waffle House when I saw yet another one of Cindy Hyde Smith’s campaign ads. My waffle was good. Her attack ads? Not so much.
Seeing lies being spread about you is weird and it reminded me of a Mississippian who recognized me solely from the attacks. Once we cut through the distraction and I shared why I’m running, he understood the difference. I’m fighting for a government that finally works for all people. Cindy High-Prices is fighting for her donors’ profits.
The GOP is terrified that we might actually win. They wouldn’t be spending so big on disinformation campaigns otherwise. But money can no longer hold back the power of the people.
Cindy has quit on Mississippi. She refuses to debate or hold town halls to listen about how we’re still paying the price for the tariffs and increased gas prices she supported. While she’s busy courting donors, I’m busy talking to Mississippians.
If we want the truth to break through the noise and reach the whole state, we must keep up the momentum.
Have a great day!
